DMCA Copyright Policy

Super Chess 16x16 respects the intellectual-property rights of others. We respond to clear notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA, 17 U.S.C. § 512).
1. Filing a takedown notice
If you believe content posted on Super Chess 16x16 infringes your copyright, send a written notice that includes ALL of the following to admin @ chess16x16.com:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
- Identification of the material claimed to be infringing and the URL on the Site where it is located.
- Your contact information: address, telephone, and email.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
2. Counter-notice
If your content was removed and you believe in good faith that it was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice that includes a signature, identification of the removed material and its prior URL, a statement under penalty of perjury that the removal was a mistake, and your name, address, telephone number, and consent to the jurisdiction of the relevant federal district court.
3. Repeat infringers
We terminate, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are repeat infringers.
